Kneading fragrant sourdough, tasting bread fresh from the oven, bringing the cows in from the pasture, watching animals and plants, exploring on bike rides, browsing in our library, enjoying delicious fresh food, finally breathing freely… A holiday with us means taking part in everyday farm life with all your senses, marvelling and discovering.

A Demeter farm in its third generation

We are the third generation to run our Demeter farm in Kraindorf, biodynamically since 1980. The farm has a bakery with its own stone mill, a dairy, a farm shop and lots of animals: cows, pigs, hens, horses, donkeys, cats and dogs. We work where we live, and we live where others love to go on holiday.

Apartment Bugatti – 46 m², double room and living-sleeping-dining room, south-west balcony.

Fresh bread, butter and yoghurt for breakfast are right next door in the farm shop.

And for peace and quiet: the Almhaus

If you would rather have a place to yourselves, stay in the Almhaus on the Johannserberg near Brückl: a house of its own with a fireplace, a private sauna hut and a view of the Karawanks.
