Between lake, castle and town
Our farm lies in Kraindorf near St. Veit an der Glan, in the heart of Carinthia. Around the farm are some of the best-known sights of the region:
- Lake Längsee – about 9 kilometres as the crow flies,
- Hochosterwitz Castle – about 10 kilometres as the crow flies,
- St. Veit an der Glan – just under 4 kilometres to the main square,
- Klagenfurt – just under 14 kilometres as the crow flies.
So you can combine trips to the lake or up to the castle with something only a farm can offer.
Staying on a Demeter farm
Instead of a hotel room: holiday apartments in the middle of farm life. Kneading fragrant sourdough, tasting bread fresh from the oven, bringing the cows in from the pasture, watching animals and plants, browsing in our library – a holiday with us means taking part in everyday farm life with all your senses, marvelling and discovering.

- Apartment Machan – 78 m², 4 beds in two double rooms, each with its own bathroom,
- Apartment Ranger – 60 m², 4 beds, south-facing balcony,
- Apartment Bugatti – 46 m², 4 beds, south-west balcony,
- The Almhaus – a house of its own with a sauna hut on the Johannserberg near Brückl.
Fresh from the farm to your breakfast table
In the farm shop you can get our Demeter bread, rolls, Glundner cheese, yoghurt and butter. And the self-service farm stall on the road to the farm is open every day, around the clock.
